POSITION SUMMARY Job Summary:
We are seeking a self-motivated Lead Warehouse Associate to join our team. This exciting opportunity offers the ability to join of one the most successful, respected, and growing companies in the tire industry.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lead Warehouse Associate oversees and assists with the day-to-day activities of assigned shift and associates. The Lead Warehouse Associate will take direction from the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Warehouse Manager.
The Lead Warehouse Associate will monitor and assist the work of other warehouse associates, helping to increase productivity, performance, and processes.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
General warehousing
Outbound order picking
Inbound receiving
Inventory management
Stock rotation
Merchandise return processing
Taking ownership and responsibility for shared success
Proactively identifying and solving problems
Skills and Requirements:
Be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs on a regular basis
Be able to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees.
Be able to climb
Demonstrate strong work ethic; be a team player
Have a strong customer service orientation
Have an unwavering commitment to MaxFinkelstein, Inc values and its mission.
Be able to operate standard warehouse equipment following company provided training.
Be able to complete all MaxFinkelstein, Inc operational and safety training in a satisfactory manner
Ability to perform duties independently, with minimal supervision or guidance
Display strong people skills
Ability to lead and motivate others
Maintain a strong desire to continuously improve
Education and Experience:
Minimum 2-years warehousing experience preferred
Forklift and reach truck experience a plus
