Job Summary:
This position is responsible for performing administrative functions that provide support to the business across all locations, including but not limited to post-hire onboarding, record-keeping, benefits administration, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Duties and responsibilities:
Verifies I-9 forms, working with on-site representative to ensure compliance Creates and tracks E-Verify casesSubmits new hire reports to the attorney general Updates HRIS information including, but not limited to: Entering New Hires Direct Deposit Updates State & Federal Tax Changes Processing Terminations Manages employee files/records throughout the employee life cycle Assists and guides employees with HRIS information updates including resetting login credentials Assist employees with questions related to job opportunities, company policies, benefits, and other Company programs Assists in distribution and tracking of health insurance information, including enrollment, changes and termination of coverage Assists in updating benefit portals including COBRA notices Processes Verifications of Employment Tracks pending hires, new hires, and terminations, relaying information on weekly interdepartmental meetingPerforms other duties as assigned SkillsAbility to multi-task and effectively complete work amid distractions Ability to problem solve and anticipate concerns Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate to multiple levels in the organization Engaging personality Knowledge of HR concepts and terminology Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity Ability to work both independently and on a team Experience High School diploma or GED Certifications preferred High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams and able to research, compile and clearly present information and data Minimum 2 years of experience in HR support role or related field Other Requirements Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred Must past pre-employment screening, including drug and alcohol screen
