What are the responsibilities and job description for the Neonatal Hospitalist - Providence Hospital position at USA Health?
USA Health Providence Hospital is currently seeking candidates for Neonatal Hospitalist Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Round on well newborn & level 2 NICU
- Attend high risk deliveries; Neonatologist backup available with advance notice for early preterm deliveries.
- 7days on/7days off followed by 5 days on/9days off for a total of 156 shifts annually.
- Average census: 10-15 patients per day.
- Post-rounding, Hospitalist takes unrestricted call.
- Collaborate with Neonatologists at nearby USA Health Children’s and Women’s Hospital for consults.
- Participate in medical staff and quality assurance meetings as needed.

Qualifications
- BC/BE in Pediatrics
- Maintain NRP certification
- Prior experience in newborn care is preferred
