Job Summary:
As a Team Member at Acceptance Insurance, you will be part of growing organization that continues to evolve and positively impact the lives of our customers. As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for helping to develop and execute against the company’s strategic marketing plan. This manager will help to drive the interaction between the broad consumer market and the office/agent structure and the call center.
Essential Job Functions:
- Together with the VP, Marketing & Brand Innovation, drive marketing strategy and planning. This includes specific focus on brand strategy, brand building, offer development, creative ideation, messaging, media placement and all related broad reach communication.
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for and manage the projects of external agency.
- Manage adherence to brand standards throughout the organization.
- Develop the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary for the company.
- Provide input to market and competitor analysis.
- Develop and deliver marketing source reporting for all offline activities.
- Ensure smooth and efficient fulfillment of field marketing requests.
- Assist in preparation of company and senior executive presentations to showcase marketing activities and results.
- Be vigilant regarding budgeting and negotiation. Ensure best pricing from all suppliers and partners.
- All other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail or other multi-unit business, and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments in marketing
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.
- Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning and marketing, business and market development and planning and promotions/advertising.
- Must have specific experience with multi market advertising (TV and radio)
- Must have experience managing relationships with outside agencies.
- Must have keen ability to re-prioritize when diversions occur.
- Must possess effective negotiation skills.
- Must be accustomed to working in a “lean” environment and embrace the opportunity to wear many hats.
