Qualifications

Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.

Time in grade: Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirement of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled

• For GS-14 Grade Level: Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level; or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates: Serves as a senior project manager in a diverse business environment that has resulted in improvements to the overall mission of the organization. Skills in planning, analyzing, and evaluating administrative policies for a nationwide lending program. Experience establishing, coordinating and providing control and continuing oversight for assigned projects. Experience advising management on classification of positions, advising when position descriptions are required and insuring proper preparation of position descriptions. Experience performing studies on a wide variety of topics and the ability to present findings and propose alternatives for improving program delivery. Experience drafting position papers, program briefings, legislative proposals, and detailed project plans. Experience collaborating with top managers and staff to ensure consistency and quality of administrative policies, practices, and service levels. Works with industry professionals on a variety of commercial banking and lending topics. There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-14 level.
