Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Leads, analyzes, designs, develops, and implements modules relating to specified projects; works under limited supervision; performs additional duties as assigned.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement modules relating to fulfillment, supply chain planning functionality of Oracle E-Business Suite.
- RICE development experience and Functional knowledge using one or more of following modules: INV, PIM, BOM, Purchasing (PO), AR, AP, OM, WMS, ASCP, iSupplier.
- Mentor and train other personnel on Oracle BR.100 documents.
- Provide recommendations on configuration and setup parameters based on other Asset Management implementations.
- Identify and documenting gaps in the Oracle product set.
- Provide recommendations on business process changes based on other Oracle Asset Management implementations.
- Support production of RICE components.
- Support configuration and maintenance of custom applications.
- Research, design, develop and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
- Design, develop, code, test and debug highly complex new software products or makes significant enhancements to existing software.
- Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems.
- Resolve highly complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.
- Conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity.
- Factor emerging technologies and product supportability into design and implementation.
- Provide input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials.
- Advise hardware engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems, such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements.
- Prepare reports on analyses, findings, and project progress, and presents results to management and/or customer personnel.
- Serve as a customer interface to resolve problems and ensure requirements are met on a timely basis.
- Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced software developers, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
- Serve as a technical team or task leader.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
- Participate in special projects as required.
- Previous working experience with Agile Scrum and Agile Scrum development methodologies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Expert in Oracle*Forms, Oracle*Reports, PL/SQL, OAF, Oracle Inventory, EAM, Purchasing, Order Management, Shipping
- Extensive knowledge of OA Framework (OAF) is required.
- Creating New page (including, but not limited to: normal/dependent LOV, partial rendering, call PLSQL package in the AM, display/hide fields programmatically)
- Customization (including, but not limited to: extent VO/AM/EO, substitution, add new region/item/button in an existing page)
- Understanding of the Oracle implementation methodology.
- Understanding documentation of RICEWF components to ensure document compliance.
- Understanding the following areas to assist in evaluation of accuracy and completeness and documentation meets customer needs
- Oracle's Mapped Business Requirement documents (BR.030)
- Oracle's Business Requirement Scenarios documents (RD.050)
- Oracle's Business Flows documents (MD.050)
- Oracle BR.100 document
- Training in Oracle E-Business Suite
- OBIEE experience is plus.
EDUCATION
A minimum of ten (10) years experience;
A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred;
RESTRICTIONS:
The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.
