Job Title: Process Improvement Lead
Salary Range: $78,780 - $105,000
Role & Responsibilities:
· Ensure plant process improvements are integrated with capital projects, reliability events and continuous improvement activity.
· Coordinate and lead planning sessions for execution of large-scale projects within the Cloquet Plant.
· Partner with Tech Services, Engineering, CIC, Project and Product Management teams to ensure alignment to plant goals.
· Conduct continuous improvement events and develop CI triggers to reduce unforeseen obstacles and costs in process upgrades and improvements.
· Identifies potential improvement events and then uses established leadership skills to build, develop, and lead teams to execute a continuous improvement event to identify solutions.
· Uses standardized Continuous Improvement strategies to streamline the handoff within internal process stakeholders.
· Ensures collaboration to keep plant leadership apprised of program status.
· Ensure projects are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects, and business strategy.
· Captures lessons learned from previous projects that can be replicated.
· Opportunity to grow into the USG Lean Six Sigma Certification Process.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Engineering Degree required.
· Minimum of one year experience in manufacturing or engineering.
· Demonstrated leadership potential, particularly around change management and building high functioning teams.
· Strong business orientation, including financial, mathematical and statistical analysis skills.
· Proven organizational and project management skills.
· IT competency in Microsoft Office programs.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.

The cost of these optional programs varies based on coverage level - employees generally pay 25% of the monthly premium cost, USG pays the rest.
