UNARMED SPECIAL POLICE OFFICERSNEEDED

Officers must be able to conduct themselves in a calm professionalmanner to uphold the expected standards of ourcompany.

Qualifications :

• Must haveprior workexpe rienceas Unarmed Special PoliceOfficer.
• At least 25 years of age or olderas required by applicable law or contractualrequirements
• Possession of a validdriver’s license issued by the state ofresidency
• Must have a DC Unarmed SPO ValidLicense.

JobSummary :

Security Officers are responsible forsecurity and control of the assigned areas and the enforcement ofthe Client's regulations.

Work is performed with someindependence in accordance with established policies and proceduressupplemented by periodic instructions and meetings.

The employeewill perform routine work for the Client. Work is performed duringvarious shifts and locations as required. Supervision is receivedfrom the Supervisory Commanderassigned.

General Security responsibilities includebut are not limited to :

• Ensure a safe and secureenvironment.
• Observe survey and reportactivities at the assignedsite.
• Interact in a professional mannerwith every department.
• Proactively engage in securityperformance duties for maximum visibility and threatdeterrence.
• Preserve order and may act toenforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining topersonnel visitors andpremises
• Accomplishes specific work taskson site to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of dutyassignments.
• Respond quickly to criticalsituations.
• Monitor and patrol premises onfoot or as directed.
• Ready to seek coaching andfeedback to ensure highperformance.
• Direct clientele to the intendeddestination.
• Exhibits the ability toprofessionally interact with all individuals in a courteous mannerand is able to deescalate potentially unsafe hostilesituations.
• Assess and act upon threats ordeviant behavior accordingly
• Ability to stand walk and sit forextended periods of time.
• Reports pertinent information tothe immediate supervisor as requested or according to anestablished schedule; compiles information as necessary or asdirected and provides data to appropriatepersonnel.
• Prepare incident logs and dailyreports as required.
