Job Description:
The Medical Receptionist will interact with patients and their families, doctors, fellow employees and vendors. This is a fast-paced environment that is driven to reach the highest quality and patient satisfaction outcomes. This job requires someone with flexible hours who can open the facility early morning.
Position Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of hospital or medical office experience preferred.
Show a genuine desire to work and improve the center as a whole.
Must be detail oriented and able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional manner.
Must have the ability to promote positive relationships with patients and staff and maintain respectful and professional interactions.
Duties will also include auditing of medical records and assistance with procedure estimates.
Will make patient charts, request H&P's from surgeons offices.
Must have problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Must maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
Must demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills.
Must be willing to cross-train to all front office duties, including scheduling.
Other duties as assigned.
