Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing all functions of revenue cycle for all management services agreement partners and outsourced revenue cycle vendor relationships including policies, objectives, and initiatives of both professional and hospital revenue cycle activities to optimize patient financial interaction along the care continuum.

· Coordinates activities of the revenue cycle vendors utilized and assures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations regarding billing and data management.

· Oversees administratively all revenue cycle operations including the data entry process, coding, and documentation, claim preparation and submission, Accounts Receivable with account follow-up, posting of payments and denials, collections, customer service and appeals operations.

· Reviews, designs, and implements processes surrounding admissions, pricing, billing, third party payer relationships, compliance, collections and other financial analyses to ensure that professional and hospital revenue cycle is effective and properly utilized.

· Tracks numerous metrics related to the patient engagement cycle including record coding error rates and billing turnaround times to develop sound revenue cycle analysis and reporting.

· Manages relations with payers and providers to generate high reimbursement rates and a low level of denials.

Education/Experience:

Master's degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, agencies or members of the business community. Write speeches and articles for publication.

Mathematical Ability:

Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Word; Familiarity with EMR systems a plus

Supervisory Responsibilities: Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
