You Are:
UST is searching for a SAP BODs Developer/Data Engineer who will act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options, optimizing application development, maintenance, and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions, accounting for others' developmental activities.
The Opportunity:
- Create and maintain data integration workflows, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
- Responsible for Planning, Developing, Implementing, and Managing Data Warehouse Project Deliverables, Design Documents, and High-Level Data Mapping for ETL Specifications
- Create transformations in ETL jobs to achieve data cleansing and standardizations during the initial data load
- Provide support for integration testing, defect fixing, and deployment.

What you need:
- SAP BODs Developer/Data Engineer (7 years)
- The design of complex ETL interfaces with various source/target types of SAP BODS is preferred.
- Knowledge of other ETL tools will be an added advantage.
- Performance Tuning and troubleshooting skills across SAP BODS, SQL, and scheduling tools.
- Strong in DB and SQLs with decent data modeling skills
- Ability to lead the developers and QA and adhere to timelines committed. Agile experience is preferred.
- Ability to work with both upstream, downstream, and reporting system stakeholders and convert the business requirements into technical requirements / JIRA stories.
- Strong proficiency in SAP BODS development, including job design, data flow creation, scripting, and debugging.
- At least 5 years of experience in ETL tools, repository maintenance, migration of jobs/workflows/dataflows, job monitoring, break-fix, user maintenance, CDC, worked with different sources targets to load the data (Oracle, SAP, Files as source; SQL Server, file uploads, etc. as targets).
- Knowledge of scheduling tools like Redwood, and Control-M.
- Proficient knowledge in transformations like Query, Push down, SQL, Table Comparison, Pivot, Lookup (), etc.
- Proficient Knowledge in Databases like Oracle (SQL Queries), SQL Server
- Proficient Knowledge of Dimensional modeling, Data Mining, and Data warehouse concepts
- Should have Excellent Analytical Skills
- Knowledge to transfer data from Oracle, SQL Server tables, and Web Services either Incrementally (Delta Load) or full Load to the Data warehouse on a periodic basis.
- Knowledge in Troubleshooting existing ETL jobs and improving the performance of the existing jobs
- Should be able to create and load data into Aggregate Tables using transformations.
- Should be able to perform multiple tasks individually and independently
- Knowledge of Python and AWS will be an added advantage.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $73,000-$109,000
Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
