We are seeking individuals to work in our Player Areas to play a crucial part in creating the 2023 US OPEN experience!
Responsibilities
- Serve as the front line to the US Open player experience providing every player with exceptional service and a positive atmosphere.
- Uniforms: A uniform shirt will be provided at the start of training. Shirts must be worn each day with your own pants (no jeans or leggings).
- All US Open staff must complete Safe Sport and Tennis Integrity Unit training.
- Staff must provide their own transportation daily to the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and housing in New York area.
- Staff members are under no circumstances permitted to take photos/videos or request autographs from the players.
Positions Available
Practice Court Desk
- Manage daily practice court reservations and court usage.
Locker Room Attendant
- Assist players and maintain the overall presentation of the player locker rooms.
Fitness Center
- Manage the use and overall presentation of the assigned fitness areas.
Player Escort
- Lead players to and from match courts and other locations throughout the grounds.
Qualifications
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a group environment
- Detail oriented
- Excellent organizational skills
- High energy level and strong work ethic
- Dynamic and positive “can-do” attitude
- Able to work potentially long hours in a high-stress environment
- Must be able to work every day of the tournament: Aug 18 - Sept 10 (7 days per week)
