The math teacher builds the foundation for learning within an interdisciplinary structure of Project-Based Learning and Blended Learning approach. The math teacher inspires scholars to use academic language as a way to express their inherent creativity and understanding of the content. The teacher will be confident in modeling and reinforcing the fundamentals of writing, reading comprehension, diction and word application within the math course. AMA is committed to creating an environment that merges STEAM into cultivating a bridge for new media arts.
The math teacher plays a critical role in supporting the accountability of meeting that commitment. The ideal candidate will embody the following leadership characteristics: Core Knowledge: Strong teaching pedagogy and content knowledge around effective teaching strategies and professional development implementation. The capacity to plan and deliver highly effective and efficient instruction to meet the needs of all scholars.
