What are the responsibilities and job description for the Control Wiring Apprentice position at UTILI-SERVE, LLC?
The Control Apprentice is part of a team of contractors who primarily support our customer, Georgia Power. We teach and train our teammates to perform the required duties to meet our customer's needs, standards, as well as Utili-Serve's standards.
Primarily our work is within the substation perimeter and includes but is not limited to:
- Installing new equipment in relay control houses.
- Removing and replacing old equipment in substation control houses.
- Pulling andTerminatingcontrol cables in control houses.
- Replacing and installing new battery systems in control houses.
- Installing andterminatingCat V cables and fiber optic cables.
- Wiring and rewiring equipment in substation yards - breakers, transformers, CCVT's AC & DCdistributionpanels.
