Job Description
Do you have site safety management experience? Utility Staffing Group is currently hiring Field Safety Officer for company in Aberdeen, MS.
Key duties and details for Field Safety Officer :
- Provide operational support and ensure work is conducted in a safe manner and in compliance with company safety programs
- Lead thorough on-site investigations into incidents and injuries
- Perform detailed job site audits, prepare safety reports, inspect tools and provide support for management
- Plan, implement and manage safety program tasks
- Pay rate : $30 / hr
- Temp-to-Hire
- Benefits (Medical, Holiday Pay, Vacation Pay)
- Paid weekly
Qualifications for Field Safety Officer :
- Bachelor's degree or applicable certification is preferred (or obtainable within a reasonable time)
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
- Site safety management experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to travel to various project sites and / or work / reside at project locations for long durations away from home
- Advanced math skills and time management skills
- Ability to do moderate to heavy walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and reaching
