Accounts Receivable Support Specialist

Utz Quality Foods is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Support Specialist to join our Finance team in Hanover, PA. This position is responsible for collecting and verifying the money received for routes serviced by employees to cash customers, reconciling daily deposits, and ensuring unapplied cash transactions are not aged beyond a certain threshold, communicating with route drivers and their managers to ensure timely receipt of support, and assisting the AR team with necessary research for route transactions for IOs and Distributors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares daily cash balances and bank deposits.
• Responsible for entering receipts into DAO Websnak in accordance with funds and support received for RSP routes.
• Responsible for monitoring Over / Shorts using DAO reporting and following up weekly or monthly with RSP's and Managers on variances to resolve.
• Responsible for communicating with RSP's and Managers ensuring all paperwork and money is sent in and nothing is aged outside of 4 weeks.
• Responsible for monitoring and providing month end aging reports to Accounting for the pending receipts per DAO Websnak to reconcile the outstanding balance.
• Responsible for providing Fed Ex information as needed to the managers for sending in paperwork and money.
• Responsible for utilizing the ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365), cash application system (HighRadius) and route accounting system and portals (DAO) to assist with researching and pulling support for overall AR activity.
• Responsible for researching PODs and invoices for IO and Distributor related collections activities and other daily AR team functions

Job Requirements

• Accounting skills associated with two or more years of bookkeeping experience; education may substitute for up to one year of experience.
• Business mathematics skills normally associated with two years of practical experience or the successful completion of a business mathematics course.
• Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
