What are the responsibilities and job description for the Boxer - First Shift - RW Garcia position at Utz Quality Foods, Inc?
RW Garcia, a subsidiary of UTZ Quality foods, is looking to grow their loyal, career-driven, and customer-focused team, and is currently recruiting for a Boxer to join its team of manufacturing professionals in Lincolnton, NC on the First shift.
As a Boxer, this candidate will be primarily responsible to assemble and move boxes and pallets from one area to another as needed throughout the day. This schedule will work 7:00 am-3:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring boxes and pallets prior to production and as needed throughout the day from the warehouse to the packing room.
- Assemble cases confirming the correct box used.
- Run boxes through the taping machine.
- Monitor code and quality of print on boxes assuring correct information are showing.
- Place boxes on pallets assuring proper count is on each pallet.
- Record the time of each pallet and remove it from the packing room to the warehouse.
- Help maintain the clean working area.
- Assist with relieving break schedules.
- Remove trash and place it in the proper container, weigh the bucket, and dump it.
- Assist in blow down and cleaning during the changeover.
- Help the lead person lift heavy rolls of film if they need it.
- Assist in cleanup and sanitization at end of week cleanup.
- Perform any other duties as directed by Lead Person and Supervisor.
