Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Perform venipuncture and administer injections as needed
- Conduct physical examinations and document findings accurately
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner to input and retrieve patient information
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of {location}
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in an acute care or medical/surgical setting
- Proficiency in sterile processing techniques
- Experience administering injections, including Botox if applicable
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective patient care
- Familiarity with ambulatory surgery center procedures and protocols
- Strong venipuncture skills for blood draws and IV placement
- Familiarity with family planning services and reproductive health education
