What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who possesses strong leadership skills to resolve issues with a sense of urgency, prioritize, and follow through with tasks while multitasking various other obligations and deadlines.  They must be accessible and informed, particularly an expert in the short-term-rental industry, knowledgeable about the competition, innovative to problem solve, and always educating and learning to improve the overall dynamics of a team.

In the role of Regional Sales Manager, you will manage a team of 10 or more sales executives in B2C sales. You will contribute to the development of Vacasa’s core values while in the field, along with, but not limited to coaching, communicating, and being an inspirational mentor for your team. You will drive growth through short and long term goal setting, allowing each team member to reach their full potential. 

What you'll do:
  • Lead and successfully manage a team of 10 to 12 Sales Executives.
  • Responsible for performance management, recruiting, and hiring Sales Executives within defined sales territories.
  • Coordinate and monitor team member pipeline health and progress relative to sales metrics (calls, emails, prospect meetings, negotiated and closed deals) weekly, collaborate, and maintain communication to develop and identify growth opportunities and ways to resolve obstacles.
  • Be responsible for Vacasa vacation rental portfolio growth within your assigned region and team.
  • Provide guidance to sales executives on articulating the Vacasa value proposition.
  • Coaching and promoting the overall growth and health of your team’s sales pipeline to ensure the optimal conversion of leads to signed agreements. Entails:
    • Providing guidance on prospecting.
    • Networking opportunities.
    • Moving established leads through designated deal stages.
    • Coaching to ensure professional and timely communication with clients.
    • Monitoring sales activities to ensure that minimum standards are met.
  • Facilitate, organize and execute department meetings.
  • Stay current with changes within the organization that may affect team performance and expectations.
  • Communicate collaboratively and effectively with supporting departments including; operations, onboarding, compliance, sales-operations, etc.

  • November 14th.
Skills you’ll need:
  • Proven leadership experience required, including leading team efforts in selling and negotiating complex business deals.  A proven sales or management history in the short-term-rental or hospitality industry is required.
  • Flexibility and comfort in working in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience using CRM software to manage opportunities and communication.
  • Google Drive, cloud computing programs experience with strong computer skills.
  • The ability to manage a large body of work while exercising strong organizational skills.
  • Proven competence at working independently and as part of a team with formal experience in a fast paced transactional deal environment.

Work conditions:
This position is remote providing you the ability to work from home and resides anywhere in the state of Hawaii.

You’ll be working in your home office setting. We hold virtual training sessions and weekly team meeting. Occasional offsite team meetings in your region or our HQ locations. Requires frequent, repetitive use of a computer, phone, and office equipment. Requires patient, professional communication with prospective clients, and the ability to build confidence with prospects.

Compensation:
  • $75,000 - $80,000 DOE.
