Sr. IT Project Manager

SUMMARY
Responsible for managing multiple projects and/or initiatives related to the design, development, execution, implementation and maintenance of systems or software. Manages all aspects of project execution including: scope definition, requirements gathering, project planning, change control, risk management, operational readiness and reporting.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide leadership, and direct teams in the delivery of high-quality services within committed time frames
* Communicates on project scope, schedule and cost, with all levels of the organization
* Advise leadership, customers, and staff on strategic solutions to dealing with barriers within a project
* Establishes and maintains business relationships with internal departments and colleagues
* Expert proficiency in the use of labor, cost management and project tracking and management tools such as MS Project
* Provide feedback to improve processes
* Handles the investigation, evaluation, and/or resolution of issues
* Respond to all inquiries timely
* Provide feedback to improve processes
* Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in an IT related field from four-year college or university, preferred
* Eight years of work experience within a large firm or equivalent experience in a matrixed environment
* Experience working effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment
* PMP and CSM Certifications preferred
* Expert knowledge in various Project Management and Product Development concepts, methodologies and processes
ESSENTIAL DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC DUTIES and/or SKILLS
* Monitor services delivery throughout the project and identify risks and issues, initiate strategies and take corrective action as appropriate
* Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences
* Lead project meetings to obtain schedule, issues, risk and dependency updates
* High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy
* Proven leadership ability including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness
* Expert in understanding the SDLC and Agile methodology disciplines
