Description
We are looking for an energetic self-starting leader who enjoys mentoring staff in the principles of supported employment. This is a full-time leadership position. If you have these traits and wish to assist Vadis in continuing to provide cutting-edge services, this is the position for you.
The Program Manager, under the direct supervision of the Associate Director, shall administrate placement services for Individual Employment (I.E.) for individuals with disabilities. Individual Employment is marketing to employers, developing business contacts and connecting our clients with fulfilling work in the community. Please note: this is not a remote position.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate efforts with a wide range of agencies and significant others to provide support services necessary for positive outcomes of training and employment
• Recruitment, screening, hiring, training and direct supervision of program personnel
• Implement employee evaluations consistent with personnel guidelines
• Conduct regular departmental meetings
• Monitor contract compliance for each program overseen
• Act as a liaison to external funding sources
• Perform assessments, evaluations and job development for clients and monitor these activities as performed by staff
• Participate in corporate planning
• Effectively manage program budgets, implement and maintain appropriate billing records
• Participate in program evaluations, audits, reviews as necessary
Requirements
BA/BS in Social Services and three years of employment in a professional setting; or equivalent combination of experience and training with extensive background working with professional programs.
Desired Qualifications:
• Ability to efficiently administer a variety of program components
• Knowledge of job and site development, recruitment, rehabilitation and employment principles
• Knowledge and experience working with people with disabilities
• Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instruction and to apply extensive guidelines to a wide variety of work situations
• Possess excellent supervisory, problem solving and communication skills in both individual and group settings
Pay and Benefits:
- This is a full-time exempt position with a starting salary of $5458.27 - $5833.33 per month, depending on experience.
- Full salary range for this position is $5458.27 - $7082.40 per month.
- Medical/vision, dental, and life insurance coverage at no premium cost to employees. Dependent coverage available at employee cost.
- 403(b) retirement plan, with up to a 6% company match dependent on contributions. (Match available after one year of employment).
- Business mileage reimbursement is currently .56/mile.
- Vacation accrual begins at 4.66 hours per month.
- Sick Leave accrues at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.
