The Ski and Ride School Manager is responsible for creating a welcoming impression by leading the resort values and priorities and modeling our company’s leadership competencies. This is achieved through the focus on quality control, guest relations, sales generation, staff performance development, financial responsibility, communication, teamwork, administrative duties and self-development. He or she will manage growth and expense of programs, and will oversee the location’s supervisory team to ensure all stakeholders: employees, guests, resort and business needs are consistently met. This position will work with the Director, General Manager, and all other resort departments to ensure efficient management of the department.

- The budgeted range starts at $60,000 - $65,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time / Year Round (10 months)
- Skill Level: Advanced

- Resolve guest complaints by utilizing company values, and available company tools.
- Drive our business through quality control of products, labor management and safety of employees and guests.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, peers and other departments to create an environment of support and trust that will benefit staff and guests.
- Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day to day supplies and program tools for inside and outside operations.
- Understand, Lead and model the Company’s mission, vision and values.
- Contribute to development of future strategic initiatives of the department.
- Ensure that staffing needs are in line with business needs on a daily basis
- Other job duties as assigned by management
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years experience as an Ski & Ride School Instructor
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
- PSIA/AASI Level 2 certification or equivalent
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- English, fluency in both written and verbal
- Must be able to work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment
- Must have excellent guest service and communication skills
- Must work well in a team
- Strong leadership skills
- Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, weekdays, evenings, & holidays
- Must pass a background check
- PSIA/AASI Level 3 certification or equivalent
- Children Specialist 2 certification or equivalent
- Prior experience working with Children, Adult, and privates
- RPOS experience
- College degree / experience in relevant field
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
