Industrial Measurements business area serves a wide range of industries and applications ranging from pharmaceutical to food industries, and from warehouses to power transformers. It offers a broad range of accurate and reliable measurement instruments based on the cutting-edge technology to help our customers optimize their processes, improve efficiency, minimize energy consumption, and ensure the high quality of their end-products.

Overview
We are currently searching for an analytical and customer-oriented Service Desk Analyst to join our global team. This position is based in Vaisala’s Woburn, Massachusetts office. This is an opportunity to join our global IT team and to support our group IT infrastructure and business solutions in all Vaisala's offices. This is a full time, in-office position (not remote or hybrid position).

Your key responsibilities include:

• End-user support of hardware and standard software components
• PC and accessories installation and lifecycle management of IT asset equipment
• Incident and problem management
• User accounts and access rights management
• IT infrastructure and business solution monitoring and support
• Support for global deployments and rollouts

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• Customer-oriented attitude
• Good co-operation and communication capability
• Ability to work independently
• PC and mobile (Apple and Android products) hardware knowledge and understanding
• Working experience on supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office
• Experience in operating Active Directory and Office 365 cloud platform
• Basic knowledge of operating Linux & macOS systems (in depth macOS a plus)
• Basic level network troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems, for example Salesforce, Oracle EBS, or SAP
• Fluent in both verbal and written English
• Knowledge of building security systems a plus (access control, burglar alarm, cameras)
• Some travel required, both domestic and internationally
• Must be willing to work on call and off shifts
