As an Human Resources Intern, you will coordinate the Involvement of Personnel/Employee Engagement strategy, accomplish the different objectives included in the Core Strategy, through the development of personnel projects and communication improvements and teamwork spirit.

Your challenges?

• You provide administrative support to the plant Human Resources department
• You maintain team member personnel records including filing and auditing of documentation
• You respond to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR related matters
• You promote site personnel recognition programs
• You participate in team member committees.
• You help to manage the co-op and internship recruiting and selection process for the manufacturing plant.
• You support with new hire orientation
• You maintain complete confidentiality regarding HR related issues.
• You respect and adhere to deadlines and manage daily priorities.
• You are responsible for additional duties and projects as assigned.
  

Let's talk about you!

• You are currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate Degree program in Human Resources or related field.
• You have some work experience; if you have a previous internship or co-op in Human Resources or related professional function, that is a plus.
• You have knowledge of U.S. labor laws
• You have strong computational skills and are proficient in MS (i.e. Word, Excel) or Google (i.e. Docs, Sheets) Suite applications.
• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and are proficient in composing professional written communication.
• You are detail-oriented, results driven and able to complete tasks without supervision.
