What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coffee Shop Manager position at Valerio Coffee Roasters?
Valerio Coffee Roasters is looking for an energetic individual to join our team of coffee loving people. Applicant must have café management experience. They must be proficient in food preparation, espresso drink preparation and customer service.
Our manager must be ServSafe Food Manager certified. Café will be open Monday through Sunday. We are looking for a manager that is flexible and able to work weekends.
Applicant must have ability to:
- Plan, order, & schedule for busy times
- Keep staff productive during down time
- Manage the team in your absence
- Communicate tasks to employees
- Participate in social media Campaigns
- Espresso and Coffee knowledge is required
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training to current employees
Valerio pays weekly and our managers receive tips. Currently our café tips range from $5 to $8.50 per hour in addition to your hourly rate.
Café Managers earn 1% net sales. Managers have an annual earning potential between $43,000 to $48,000.
