Human Resources Manager
We are looking to add to our team! Valley Bank is hiring for a Human Resource Manager.
About The Role:
Valley Banks stand for community and the position of Human Resource Manager will be a vital part of our leadership team. This position will be responsible for creating and sustaining the culture of our bank while administering all aspects of the human resource policies and duties. These responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, compensation oversight, employee relations, training, payroll and compliance with all regulatory standards. As part of the team, this individual will provide recommendations to senior leadership that align with the Bank’s objectives, strategies, and mission and vision goals.
Essential Responsibilities;
· Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, retention and employee engagement.
· Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
· Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, employee engagement, occupational health and safety; and training and development.
· Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
· Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
· Participates with leadership in budget planning and implementation.
· Facilitates professional development, career coaching, and training programs for staff by working with internal team members and third-party resources.
· Champions the Bank’s culture and work environment and manages the Human Resource functions with that in mind.

Education and Experience:
· 3 years Human Resource experience preferred.
· Combination of related experience and education will be considered.
· HR certification (SHRM-CP or SCP or PHR, SPHR) or willingness to attain within 2 years desired.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office and payroll software.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Ability to travel to Bank branch locations.
· Lifting requirements vary but generally do not exceed 25 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year
