Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at Valley Machining Company.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met across all levels of our manufacturing process. This includes inspecting and calibrating equipment, maintaining metrology tools, and ensuring compliance with our Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections and calibration tasks to ensure equipment is functioning within specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a satisfactory working environment for quality inspections.
• Ensure compliance with our detailed quality inspection process.
• Train employees on new processes and procedures.
• Maintain applicable Quality Assurance files and records.
• Perform various projects related to manufacturing process improvement.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in metal fabrication in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Practices and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing is preferred.

Skills:

• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent oral, writing, and listening skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of Safety Practices and OSHA Requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment while following all safety protocols.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs.
