What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Server/Bartender position at Valley of the Eagles?
We are hiring SERVERS & BARTENDERS. The Black River Tavern & Valley of the Eagles Event Center in Elyria, Ohio is hiring Full-Time/Part-Time positions in our upscale full service restaurant and event center.
Dining room service - tip wage gratuity
Banquet functions - starting at $13 allocated service charge
Expo - $16 ( rotated, no more than 1 shift a week)
We are willing to train!
Key Responsibilities:
- Report to work timely as scheduled and in UNIFORM. (uniform code is strictly enforced with name tag)
- Memorize menu items, specials, and beverage items
- Complete opening or closing side work for each shift and maintain a clean work environment
- May be assigned to work dining room, catered functions, and expo.
- Provide guests a great experience and display great attitude with co-workers
- Ability to set up, take down, and clean up dining rooms, and banquet halls as needed
- Ability to work in the expo line to get the orders out and seat guests upon arrival when needed
Qualifications:
- A great attitude and a cheerful smile
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to solve customer complaints
- Great attention to details
- Excellent communication skills
