Estates Chef – Full Time

**Starting Pay $15.50****$1000 Sign-on Bonus**

Job Responsibilities for Chef

• Provide shift supervision to the dining service department
• Ensure quality dining service experience of our residents
• Provide food prep in accordance with state and federal guidelines and regulations and established policies and procedures
• Ensure that special diets are followed and that food is delivered in a timely manner
• Works directly with the Dietary Aides, Kitchen Manager, Director of Dining Services, and Dietitian to deliver meals, snacks, and drinks to the residents in our community.
• Ensure proper documentation of meals and fluid intakes during meal time.
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel as well as other departments to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of residents

Job Qualifications for Chef

• Seeking a candidate that enjoys and takes pride in providing a quality dining service experience.
• Previous culinary experience preferred
• Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work within deadlines
• Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times
• Must be comfortable working on computers
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs
