Provide leadership and support for the warehousing and distribution of products. Supervises shipping employees, while assuring the proper receipt and shipment of Valtris’ goods.

Job Summary

Provide leadership and support for the warehousing and distribution of products. Supervises shipping employees, while assuring the proper receipt and shipment of Valtris’ goods.
Essential Responsibilities
- Builds working relationships with the Plant Manager, management team, and operational personnel.
- Manages warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
- Oversees receiving of materials and packaging, warehousing, distribution.
- Supervise the shipping, receiving, and inventory activities across the plant
- Ensure that orders are picked accurately, wrapped and packed properly, and shipped on time to our customers.
- Responsible for setting up layout and ensures efficient space utilization of the warehouse.
- Meet and ensure productivity targets are achieved and all warehouse processes are running according to company goals.
- Liaise with customer service, suppliers and transportation resources.
- Actively participates in the cycle counting program and investigates discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
- Use software to prioritize and route orders while managing documentation.
- Directs the efforts of the shipping team, effectively communicates workload requirements and expectations and keeps the team abreast of status, and ensures good housekeeping practices, safety rules and customer requirements are followed by all personnel.
- Maintain DOT compliance for all shipments.
- Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment.
- Conformance with the Valtris Quality and Environmental, Health, Safety and Security policies and awareness of ISO 9001 and RC14001 management system requirements applicable to this position
- Support implementation and maintenance of the Valtris ISO 9001 and RC14001 management systems
Required Qualifications
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration.
- Demonstrated skills in ISO 9001, BOL’s, CofA’s, and FIFO Order Management.
- 3 years of Warehouse/Shipping management experience.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
