What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outdoor Dismantling Technician (Day Shift, 4 Days per week, No Weekends!) position at Vander Haag's Inc.?
At the heart of our salvage process is our Outdoor Dismantling Technician. Working primarily by yourself in our salvage yard, you will be responsible to safely remove parts from our salvage units that our customers have ordered.
This job performs a wide variety of different tasks each day including:
- Working independently in a Yard Truck assigned to you (truck is set up with tools & equipment).
- Planning and organizing your own workflow throughout the day.
- Working outdoors on a frequent basis, removing parts our customers need to stay on the road!
- Communicating with Sales staff regarding the condition of used parts in the yard.
- May occasionally assist with loading/unloading parts for customer as well.
Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, four days per week. Overtime pay for any hours worked beyond 40 hours/week.
Compensation: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour depending upon experience and other qualifications.
