Business Intelligence Analyst III
Deliver self-service Business Intelligence (BI) solutions that drive strategy and facilitate operational change. Specifically, utilize BI tools to develop and deploy dashboards, reports and visualizations that provide interactive views of business activity across all functions to help staff measure progress, eliminate inefficiencies, and quickly adapt to changing operational conditions. Work with other members of the BI team to collect and develop requirements from stakeholders for reporting, data aggregation and curation and provide technical subject matter support to members of the growing BI community of practice.

Business Intelligence Analyst III Responsibilities
Contribute to the organizations success through demonstrating company values while successfully achieving or exceeding performance goals and objectives for the following major job functions.
List in order of Importance:
(40%) 1. Provide self-service BI solutions to inform business strategy and operations. Design, build, optimize, and maintain BI solutions to effectively deliver information to internal customers based on collected requirements. Develop innovative BI solutions using structured and unstructured, multi-dimensional data sources.
(30%) 2. Establish and maintain best practice standards and procedures for design and development of BI solutions and data visualizations. Provide support to the internal community of BI practitioners across a variety of subject matters. Partner with colleagues to lead data governance and stewardship activities. Build additional BI capability through training programs and one-on-one assistance.
(25%) 3. Collaborate with the rest of the BI team to help determine requirements and data needs to support business unit requests, submit requirement details to data engineering staff as needed to continue to curate existing data.
(5%) 4. Cultivate a body of knowledge and network of industry experts to discover BI best practices and position as a leading practitioner among peers in this space. Represent the company as a BI practitioner locally and nationally.

Essential Function Requirements
Demonstrated skills: Computations, calculations, and data manipulation processes; writing clearly and concisely; developing and delivering public presentations; balancing multiple priorities; researching issues and ideas; working independently with limited supervision as well as within a team environment; promotes safety as a guiding principle and a regular practice in accomplishing work; focuses on safety improvements and complies with safety and health policies and procedures; shows the utmost respect for others and is a proven team player.
Ability to: Maintain computer software skills, including advanced Excel skills; effectively use data analytics and visualization software as applicable; interpret and present data and explain predictive information; monitor practitioner trends and attend seminars and/or professional events to expand understanding of and possibilities related to BI and analytics; demonstrate commitment to valuing differences among individuals and passion for being inclusive.
Working knowledge of: Statistical methodologies, quantitative analysis, and information design principles, SQL and relational database design best practices and research methods, and ability to work with large and complex data sets, information design best practices, emerging BI technologies and tools.
Advanced knowledge of: Enterprise reporting and data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI. Significant experience with Microsoft Excel and Access, data profiling (i.e., determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems), development and use of analytical techniques, including segmentation and data mining.

Business Intelligence Analyst III Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, statistics, data management/data analysis or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: 8 years’ experience utilizing BI software (specific experience with Tableau or Power BI is preferred) or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.

Compensation: $60/hr. (DOE)
