Reporting to the Director, Workplace Experience, you will play a key role in the enablement, maintenance, and support of our employee focused IT systems, processes, and programs for all Varicent employees globally.  You will ensure a seamless and productive work environment for both remote and in-office experiences and will work closely with the IT Manager and Security Department to ensure our employee assets are protected and monitored.  This is a great opportunity to gain experience in an IT Support role for an industry leading Software Company. Office Hybrid role:

3 days in the office, Tuesday, Thursday plus one additional day.

What you will do
  • Provide first-level problem resolution, which includes duties such as problem definition, research, and resolution of problems.  Liaise with IT Vendors on support tickets and escalation issues as required
  • Lead onboarding / offboarding IT activities including procuring and receiving computers, preparing laptops (imaging, software, etc.), and deploying equipment to users
  • Create email accounts and maintain active directory
  • Connect with users to complete the onboarding process
  • Adhere to service level agreements with customers to continually increase customer satisfaction


What you will bring
  • BSc. in Computer Science, or a Diploma in IT hardware & networking. Having a MCITP and CCNA Certification is an asset
  • Minimum of 2 years experience installing and setting-up corporate laptops across multi-location organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to work extremely well under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Customer-focused approach to your work, your strong problem solving skills, and you ability to challenge status-quo
  • Ability to work unsupervised and effectively prioritize multiple demands at one time
  • Ability to work on-site from our Toronto office a minimum of 2 days per week
