Job Description:
Work location: In Office every morning, assigned to on-site at Marion County Schools throughout the day. 10% driving to various Marion County School locations. client will provide mileage reimbursement. Will report to office address in the mornings and be assigned to schools as needed.
Dress Code: Medical/Business Casual
Driving: daily to various Marion County Schools as needed to provide trainings.
Job Description:
- *** Child diabetic care management knowledge and experience ***
- *** 5 years of nursing experience ***
- *** Work with pediatric clients ***
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work and communicate with children and adolescents, parents, and school staff.
- Knowledge of a normal Childhood Maturation process.
- Ability and skills to perform basic nursing functions, including but not limited to, assessment and treatment of injuries and/or illness.
- Ability to direct/monitor a Health Support Technician (HST) in the clinical setting.
- Ability to handle large volumes of people, emergency situations, and/or difficult people.
- Skilled in accurate and detailed record keeping including use of a computer.
