The HR Shared Services Specialist accepts and directs incoming phone calls. This position responds to basic inquiries by referring to the Knowledge Base and SOP’s according to department’s process standards. The role resolves routine to moderately complex issues and will be responsible for processing transactional work in an accurate and timely manner. The HR Shared Services Specialist influences team members by directing them to the Knowledge Base and providing them with instructions on how to complete tasks independently. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: N/A Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: N/A Experience REQUIRED: 0-1 years of customer service experience in a call center or area with high volume of telephone inquiries. Experience PREFERRED 1-2 years of Healthcare or Human Resource experience Education/training REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent Education/training PREFERRED: Some college coursework in HR or related field Independent action(s) required: Must have aptitude for technology and be comfortable working in many different systems. Excellent listening and communication skills with ability to provide high quality customer service. Must be team-focused, self-motivated, and work with a modest degree of supervision. Able to multi-task in fast paced environment while being detail oriented.
