IT Support Analyst || State of VA (VDOT)

Our government client is looking for an experienced IT Support Analyst on a 12 months renewable contract role in Culpeper , VA.
Position – IT Support Analyst
About the role:

• Extensive skill in the use of Microsoft Desktop products including but not limited to
• Windows, SharePoint, MS Office Suite and MS Teams.
• Support IT Knowledge Base Management by participating in the review and updates of articles.
• Communicate and collaborate across the entire team to include IT support center peers, supervisor and other departmental teams.
• Expert in the use of Office 365, Sharepoint Online, and administering desktop applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with individuals and groups.
• Experience working with help request tracking tools.
• Strong Customer Service skills that include a “customer first” attitude.
• Position is responsible for agency-specific end user support throughout agency Culpeper District.
• Provides troubleshooting, problem management and escalation of issues to resolve and
• communicate resolution to customer concerns in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot phone, network, and desktop hardware and software issues.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of computer/mobile device applications and how they operate in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with creating training documentation.
• Sharepoint design includes create sites, manage permissions, lists and libraries.

Required/Desired Skills:

• 4 years of Extensive skill in the use of Microsoft Desktop products including but not limited to Office 365, Windows 10/11, SharePoint Online Required.
• 4 years of Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with individuals and groups. Strong customer service skills with a customer first attitude Required.
• 4 years of Working knowledge of VTC technologies and software products likely to be used in conjunction with remote meetings. IE MS Teams, Google Meets Highly desired.
• 4 years of Develop and maintain we design within Sharepoint. view, design, add, update, delete, approve, edit pages, change permissions, and customize items Required.
• 2 years of Experience providing training and education on technology and technical systems to individuals and business sections Highly desired.
• 2 years of Training delivery through hands-on training classes, online sessions, and/or workshops, teach best practices for utilizing these technologies Highly desired.
