Vector Solutions is seeking an HR Manager to provide HR guidance, analyze HR metrics and headcount to drive outcomes, resolve employee relations issues, and partner with leaders and management to improve work relationships and productivity. They will act as consultants, aligning HR practices with business goals.
What You'll Do:
- Consult with leaders and managers to provide daily HR guidance.
- Coach and support employees in their roles to drive outcomes.
- Analyze HR trends and metrics to drive outcomes, e.g., engagement, attrition, FTE budgets, etc.
- Resolve employee relations issues.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Provide HR policy guidance.
- Identify training needs for teams and individuals and partner with Talent Management to build out the programs as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee policies and procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to managers with handling separations and exit processes.
- Apply knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
- Prepare and maintain ad-hoc reports necessary to carry out functions of department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as an HR generalist or HRBP.
- Demonstrated understanding of HR programs including compensation, performance management, employee relations, and employee/manager development.
- Understanding of various employment laws and their impact on HR matters required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; articulate and persuasive communicator including strong presentation skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate the utmost in professionalism.
- The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Work independently and possess sound judgment skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to a changing environment.
- Up to 10% travel
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- May occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
