Position: Fraud Analyst
Location: Tempe, AZ / Saltlake City, UT ( Hybrid)
Duration: 06 - 12 months contract
Qualifications:
· This will mainly be remote but there are times they will need to go in the office. should be based in Salt Lake or Tempe Also, the hours are not set to 8-43
· Processing of card Fraud and Disputes
· Substantial understanding of the job and applies skills, knowledge and experience to complete a wide range of tasks.
· Experience in processing MasterCard chargebacks.
· Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience of credit card risk management, credit card related regulatory compliance, and operations functions, including but not limited to monitoring, documenting and analyze information, think through difficult problems, and make critical decisions based on limited information.
· Minimizes risk exposure including credit and operating losses.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for processing and assessing MasterCard debit and credit card transaction chargebacks and representment of accounts in Card Services Portfolio.
· Interpret changes to dispute resolution rules as mandated by MasterCard resolution.
· Maintain accurate and proper documentation with dispute files and makes independent decisions for appropriate action to be taken within regulatory and procedural guidelines.
· Provide suggestions for enhancing client experience along with mitigating loss and maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
· Analytical support of complying with Reg E and/or Reg Z guidelines.
· This role is responsible for processing, researching, and resolving cardholder claims while ensuring that all chargebacks are processed accurately and timely.
· Develop and maintain policy and procedures for handling dispute and fraud claims through the entire cycle.
