Account Managers for Rapid Recon and Velocity Automotive products act as client advocates by being the primary champions for the customer and their bridge to all internal teams the customer may need to interact with. The Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage the relationship between the customer and Vehlo, by building a solid connection with both the primary users of our software and the primary decision-makers at the dealership. Finally, they are expected to be subject matter experts on anything pertaining to their customers for all other internal teams to rely on. Account Manager performance is ultimately measured by customer satisfaction and revenue retention.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop a solid and trusting relationship between major key contacts.
  • Resolve key customer issues and complaints, working with and communicating with internal teams to manage the full customer experience.
  • Develop a complete understanding of key account needs. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Expand relationships to assist in bringing in new clients and continuous utilization of our current relationships to increase revenue by upgrading products or adding additional stores.
  • Contact the customer on a regular basis to understand their needs and build a meaningful relationship
  • Identify issues with current customers’ accounts then take immediate and necessary action to identify the root cause and the best course of action to bring the customer back to good standing.
  • Resolve low customer buy-in and usage.
  • Log all tasks and communication with detailed notes into SalesForce.
  • Keep Salesforce up-to-date with the correct organization and contact data.
  • Provide Account notes thorough enough that anyone in the company can jump into an account and know exactly what’s happened and what’s going on with the customer.
  • Continuously develop your personal knowledge of both the software and the automotive industry to better help and meet their customers’ needs.
  • Present and train on new features as they are introduced or upgraded.
  • Provide prep work and participate in Discoveries, Launches, and Performance Reviews and be the main point of contact and project manager for the entire onboarding process

What You'll Need:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Self-Motivated
  • Experience with web meeting tools
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
  • Bonus: previous experience in the automotive industry
