What You’ll Do

• Maintains focus on branch(es) loan queues to ensure newly approved loans are immediately serviced. Answers members’ questions regarding their loans (length, payment, rate, etc.).
• Facilities the progression of approved consumer loans to ‘Ready to Fund’ status by requesting and verifying items needed to satisfy loan stipulations, calculating proof of income, communicating counter offers, and preparing DocuSign process and/or schedules appointments for MSRs to finalize the loan.  
• Provides support to underwriters when the loan status is marked “Need More Information” and assists in resolving fraud warnings.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities expanding the member relationship based on account history and needs, including offering GAP, MMP, or other products.
• Opens new accounts and establishes new memberships; opens Checking, Certificates, and Money Market Savings accounts. 
• Performs teller functions, as needed. Including accepting negotiable items, scanning checks, buying and selling cash from and to CDMs/TCRs or other Branch Reps/Vault Teller, opening/closing procedures.
• Engage in decision-making by researching internal procedures/policies and communicating with the credit union support departments as necessary to solve member issues.

• Part-Time shifts include: 11:30AM – 5:15PM (M-W), 11:30AM – 6:15PM (Th-F), 9AM – 2:30PM (Sat)

What We’re Seeking

• Previous teller experience, 2 years.
• Previous sales experience in financial services, 6-12 months.
• Someone who is service driven and able to communicate solutions with empathy.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Credit Union teller experience.
• Working knowledge of these systems – Symitar/Episys and MeridianLink.
• Fluency in Spanish, specifically in finance/banking terminology.
