The Production Trainer is responsible for the effective training of the Production team with an emphasis on New Hire Onboarding. This role coordinates, plans, executes and reports on the delivery of training to the production team with professionalism, enthusiasm, and excellence. This role is responsible for utilizing SOPs during training and providing needed updates to SOPs to the Training Manager. This role will work cross-functionally with the Production and Training Manager to identify training needed beyond New Hires or to fulfill Production roles in the absence of training needs.
- Trains New Hires: Coordinates, plans, executes and reports on the delivery of New Hire training to the production team with professionalism, enthusiasm, and excellence.
- Develops Standard Work: Collaborates with Training Manager and Production Supervisors to develop and update Standard Work utilizing digital tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Trains Production Employees: Coordinates, plans, executes and reports on the delivery of other training to the production team with professionalism, enthusiasm, and excellence.
- Supports Production Roles: Works cross-functionally with Production team to fulfill Production roles.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated training capability.
- Demonstrated capability of technical proficiency (Microsoft Suite, Windows operating system, etc.),
- Great communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and possess the ability to work in a rapidly-changing environment.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including plant Supervisors and Managers.

Physical Demands:
Regularly requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Physical strength and dexterity sufficient to perform the required task(s). Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance. Additional demands may be required.
Work Environment:
In addition to normal business hours, work schedules may include after hours and weekends as needed. May work outside and in adverse temperatures which include extreme hot, cold, and humidity. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment as required by established Company Safety standards. May require work in confined and dark spaces, and at heights in excess of 18 feet for prolonged periods of time.
