What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Consultant position at Venture Solar?
We are hiring to train Salespersons.
Overview:
We seek an entry level Solar Consultant that will be a solid contributor and leader in our Sales group. Our Retail Solar Consultants directly report to the Retail Regional Manager.
We are seeking candidates with a student mentality, who are willing to work hard, and have a great attitude- no experience is required. The solar industry is relatively new and we understand that.

Base salary commission. Job seekers will likely make $75,000 - $100,000 after commissions.
You will be responsible for:
- Professionally prospecting inside one of our trusted retail partners locations to pitch the various Venture Solar product offerings
- Assist homeowners and families with saving money through our residential sales practices
- Gather the necessary homeowner information needed to provide a custom solar solution
- Set appointments to answer any outstanding customer questions inside the home.
- Confidently provide focused customer service
- Track and monitor performance against team and company metrics
What you’ll bring:
- College Degree (Preferred)
- Prior sales or hospitality experience
- Outstanding customer service experience
- Possess excellent communication skills including the ability to listen and resolve issues, questions, and concerns
- Ability to work independently and determine personal work schedule to be productive
- Desire to help homes and families save money and live healthier, greener lives
