Summary
The HR/Payroll Administrator responsibilities include processing weekly payroll, assisting HR in any and all HR related tasks such as onboarding, conducting new hire orientation, etc. We are looking for an HR/Payroll Admin to support the day - to-day activities of our Human Resources Department.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supports bi-coastal teams (West and East coast)
- Maintaining all employee documents through ongoing audits and keeps employee files up to date
- Supports all recruiting aspects, publishing and removing job ads, conducting new hire orientation, verifying I-9 etc.
- Running weekly payroll
- Provide training and development opportunities (safety, sexual harassment trainings)
- Maintaining monthly birthday/anniversary announcements.
- Adding new hires into bambooHR
- Continue to evolve the company culture, with new ideas, programs and policies. Assist with VEF Newsletter
- Performs other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
- Maintain and work with BambooHR, Asana, Slack, Paychex Flex and the Google Suite.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Previous working experience as an HR Administrator for at least two years
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and the Google Suite plus all related software.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
