The primary goal of the Data Analyst is to create accurate and meaningful reports for departmental and management decision-making using Access, Excel, Visual Basic, and other reporting and presentation tools as necessary. The Data Analyst will analyze multiple data sources in support of client retention and new business strategies and will provide overall analytic support for the Payer Sales and Customer Support teams.
Essential Functions
- Aids the Veradigm Payer Sales Team with key planning and operations tasks to drive overall revenue targets and business objectives.
- Analyzes, synthesizes, and aggregates SFDC data, vendor reports, and related financial information to create accurate Available Market, White Space, and Closed Won/Closed Lost reports to drive Payer client retention and new business strategies.
- Verifies and analyzes report data; prepares related documentation. Effectively communicates the results of the analysis. Prepares documentation of processes needed for the development and improvement of data.
- Conducts regular investigative research into client and prospect tracking (news announcements, speaker engagements, etc.) to identify candidates for engagement and sales strategy approaches. Partner with Sales Operations, Product, and MCOE Teams to create and execute marketing intelligence strategies based on competitive findings.
- Works with internal clients and department leaders to define and implement their reporting needs; creates sales reports and department dashboards. Ensures internal customers have access to the data they need and know how to use it.
- Tracks trends that are directly related to strategic direction, cross-functional analysis, support, and collaboration with other departments.
- Completes special projects that enable team performance.
- Conducts research to determine the source of discrepancies. Identifies, communicates, and monitors areas for improvement.
- Analyzes complex problems and recommends solutions to remove barriers to growth; communicates opportunities to internal stakeholders with recommendations based on knowledge about customers and competitors. Identify and implement areas for process improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience - Required
- 2-4 years relevant work experience - Required
Additional Work Experience
- Skilled at data aggregation - Required
- Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Office including Access and Excel – Required
- Experience with SQL queries – Required
- Effective communication skills – Required
- Salesforce CRM systems experience – Preferred
