Talent Acquisitions & Development Manager
Purpose:
Verbio is looking for a Talent Acquisitions & Development Manager with a full-cycle recruiting experience to design and oversee the Company’s hiring strategy and to lead workforce analysis, personnel planning, talent sourcing, selection, onboarding, and talent development and training.
A successful candidate will collaborate with department heads and managers on regular basis to proactively identify future workforce needs, will support the planning with strategic analysis and cost projection, will attract candidates using various sources, such as social media networks and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing, and selection. Has a passion for learning, training, and strategy development.
Ultimately, the responsibilities of this position are to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline and working on talent development and training.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement overall recruiting strategy.
Perform job analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
Participate in job architecture and job leveling initiatives.
Actively participate in the group salary benchmarking projects.
Lead the annual harvest strategy planning for our Agriculture team.
Investigate and coordinate work visa applications, including seasonal worker visa process.
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/social media/colleges etc.
Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work” and work with the marketing team on developing and growing employer brand in the North America region.
Revamp the Verbio Internship and Graduate Programs.
Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media and implementing new sourcing methods (e.g., social recruiting and Boolean searches).
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitude.
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates.Help organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc.)
Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure efficient and effective interview and selection process.
Apply HR recruiting best practices and help train managers to be better interviewers.
Work with HR Business Partners on job offer preparation and onboarding process.
Collect and manage recruiting metrics (e.g., time to hire and cost per hire).
Prepare analysis and well documented recruiting reports for leadership.
Support global HR initiatives and projects.
Other assignment as needed.
Requirements and skills:
- BS/MS in Human Resources Management
- Proven 3-5 years of work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter).
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.)
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check, etc.)
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
- Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills
