Job Description
Clipper Magazine is looking for a qualified Customer Contact Representative with great customer service skills. This position will make outbound calls as well as receive inbound calls to schedule appointments for the sales team.
What You’ll Do:
- Generate outbound phone calls to businesses and schedule appointments for the sales team
- Receive incoming phone calls and gather necessary information to schedule face-to-face appointments for the sales team.
- Process Internet advertising requests, including calling the prospect to set an appointment if appropriate.
- Update information in computer on all calls and confirm/notify appointments with sales rep
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
- HS Diploma or equivalent years of customer service experience.
- PC computer skills - Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong telephone etiquette - Patience is a MUST
- Telemarketing experience preferred and sales experience is helpful
- Must be able to type 40 words per minute
- Creative outside the box thinking
- Interpersonal & communication skills - Must be able to deal with a variety of individuals
- Ability to deal with deadlines, pressures and a busy work environment
