Position : Compliance Inspector
Location : Elma, New York Duration : 3 month contract Frequency : 37 / hrs a week
Support required for a UK Customer at their supplier in Buffalo, NY.
ME / Quality Engineer or senior inspector with Audit experience. Understanding / Experience of :
- Measurement techniques
- Audit experience
- Shop floor control systems and route cards
- Must be from Aerospace background, Engines experience advantageous
You will be in place at the Suppliers site to inspect all Customer specified parts prior to shipment, completing a full visual inspection against customer final specification.
Documentation check - Delivery Paperwork check prior to shipping including concession numbers and correct categorisation against concession paperwork.
Ensure packaging is in accordance with SABRe PPL ( Protection, Packaging and Labelling) requirements
Ensure rejected parts are segregated and identified.
Log all inspection results into a portal on a daily basis.
Drive open Quality Notifications to completion, working with the supplier to aid improvements and prevent re-occurrences.
