Job Posting for Principal Recruiter - Product at Verkada
The Role
As a Principal Recruiter for our Product team, you will partner with our SVP of Product to source, recruit, and close talented professionals to join the Verkada Product team. You’ll have exposure to a number of roles across the Product organization, owning leadership roles and multiple levels of Product Managers. We are one of the fastest-growing companies in Silicon Valley and you will be essential to our continuous growth and success.
Please note: this role is in person - onsite in our HQ, San Mateo office.
Responsibilities
Manage the full-cycle recruiting process: source passive talent, maintain a healthy pipeline, deliver offers, and close top candidates
Develop relationships with the Product team and contribute your expertise on effective hiring strategies for the market
Make compelling presentations to candidates about Verkada and the Product team
Organize and host remote and on-campus University Recruiting events
Partner with teammates to make improvements to our hiring processes as we continue to scale
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited university
10 years of successful full-cycle technical recruiting
Consistently able to generate a well-targeted and high-quality candidate pipeline for complex and difficult to find roles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on timely and transparent communication
Ability to influence and collaborate with hiring managers using a data-driven approach
Adept at managing competing priorities and navigating a fast-paced startup environment
Commitment to excellence and top performance
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience recruiting for Product roles, especially for complex B2B product companies
Experience and interest in University Recruiting to continue building our pipeline of top MBA candidates
Knowledge of Greenhouse, Covey, and GoodTime
