JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the daily supervising, maintaining, monitoring and scheduling of all efforts related to supply and sanitation efforts on the property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Provides excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
•Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
•Responsible for the training, coordination and assigning duties of all dishwashers and stewards.
•Upholds and enhances excellent kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation at all times.
•Makes recommendations and suggestions in hiring dishwashers and stewards to the Executive Chef.
•Knowledge of State Health Department regulations and assures all conditions and standards are being met.
•Oversees the completion of all post-meal & closing duties by the stewards and dishwashers.
•Executes special deep cleaning projects under the direction of the Executive Chef.
•Makes adjustments to staffing levels based on daily business conditions.
•Assists all Food and Beverage Management in inventorying and ordering equipment and supplies, ensuring that each venue has sufficient stocks for their operations.
•Serves as contact to Facilities Department for monitoring and managing levels of fats, oils and grease leaving the kitchen to the sewerage treatment facility.
•Participates as a team member with Food Servers, Utilities, Cooks, Supervisors and any pertinent Company Associates in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of customer service.
•Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record.
•All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Stewarding and supervisory experience necessary.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises stewards and dishwasher. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training of associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
