Position Scope and Charter:
This position assists with the V2X Travel & Expense platform and Travel Credit Card programs. The V2X Travel Analyst provides advice, guidance, and support to travelers/employees while ensuring compliance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and applicable policies and procedures. The Analyst assists with pre-travel arrangements, identifying discrepancies in travel programs and funding reports, and answering traveler questions. Assistance will include assistance with various reports including but not limited to the Vertex program reports, unsubmitted expense reports, onboarding, terminating, accrual, etc. The V2X Travel Credit Card program will assist the Debt Management Monitor (delinquent accounts) with indebtedness collection actions (payroll deductions). Professional Requirements, Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
- H/S Diploma and AND 0 years of related experience
Preferred Experience:
- Ability to assess various organizational travel programs in accordance with governing regulations and to provide planned routine and on-the-spot training on all aspects of Vertex employment.
- Knowledge of DOD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of AD HOC reports and Vertex individual and group travel procedures.
- Experience in administering travel/expense at the program level or higher. Travel/Expense experience should include travel documents, cancellation procedures, constructed travel, FY crossover, Group Travel, Itinerary changes, City Pair program, Routing lists, Authorizations, and Travel Credit Card program (Individual and Centrally Billed Accounts) employment at the program level or higher.
- Travel Credit Card Service experience including knowledge of Vertex Centrally Billed Account reconciliation, card maintenance, and Vertex Program Coordinator support functions.
- Knowledge of current relevant guidance including the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR).
- Functional experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel applications.
- Understanding of business process maps (normally in flowchart format) and supporting documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to translate complex concepts and data into graphically appealing and easy-to-understand presentations.
- Excellent hands-on project management experience and strong analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong collaborative relationships with internal Department and external Company leadership.
- Demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate both in verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to work in a customer facing role and as a collaborative member of a diverse team
- Must be able to travel, work overtime and weekends as required
- Experience working in the aerospace/defense industry is a plus
- US Citizenship Required.
